Baby stuff

Back in January one of my great friends, Heather, surprised me with my first baby gift. Here it is......

She found a good deal on this rocker and then sanded it down and painted it. Plus she made the seat cushion for it. She is probably one of the most talented people I know. Seriously, you should see her paintings! Thanks again Heather!!

Last Sunday our friends Kendall and Starla gave us their old bassinet.
We absolutely love it! Thanks so much guys! The blanket is from the crib bedding we bought before we even knew if it was a boy or girl.

Everything with the pregnancy is going well still. This little guy is definitely active and Zach has even been able to feel him kick a few times now. It's funny how last week people were telling me that I didn't look like I was 20 weeks pregnant and this week I've had patients at work asking me when I'm due. Amazing how in one week it can all change!

We're having a.....

BOY!!! We found out yesterday and couldn't be more excited! It was really cool to see how much he has grown since our last ultrasound at 10 weeks. This last week I have been able to feel him move a lot and he was moving the whole time during the ultrasound. Unfortunately we didn't get a very good face shot since he decided to turn his back on us. Other than that, he's measuring on schedule and they are keeping my due date as August 5, 2009. No, we don't have a name picked out and probably won't until he is here so we can make sure it "fits."

Trip Home

I know, I am such a slacker at blogging lately! We haven't taken a whole lot of pictures lately and really, what is a post without pictures? Last week we were able to fly to Idaho for Coleman and Randi's wedding and since it was Zach's spring break we were able to stay the whole week. Unfortunately, our camera wasn't charged (oops) so we didn't take too many pictures, except of the wedding. We had a lot of fun hanging out with our families mostly and being able to see a few friends and are not looking forward to going back to the real world tomorrow!

Going Private

I realize I haven't put anything on here about Christmas and New Years, mainly because we were lame and didn't take any pictures while we were home. We did have an awesome time being with both our families during the holidays though. It was definitely winter there and I kept asking Zach why we want to move back to the frozen tundra of Idaho but of course by the time we came back to Memphis, I just wanted to go back to Idaho. Luckily, we will be heading back the end of February for Zach's little brother's wedding.
