"I'm not gonna lie..."

Yesterday, Zach and I were able to have lunch with one of our favorite old friend/co-worker/mission buddy of Zachs. We were so excited to have our first Idaho visitor! Okay, so he really wasn't in Memphis to see us, but we can pretend. It was awesome to see Steve and to meet his sweet girlfriend, Whitney. We are hoping that since Whitney is from Memphis that he will come to visit more often! :) It was great to reminisce about all the fun times back in the "cave" at Melaleuca, hear some wonderful mission stories, and laugh about all the crazy things in Memphis.

We had an exciting day in our office on Monday. News Channel 5 came in with a homeless man that had been firebombed. Don't know what that is? Neither did I, so I will try to explain. Someone threw a beer bottle full of gasoline and lit it on fire at this man which gave him third degree burns. His glasses were destroyed in this process and that is how he came to be in our office on Monday. Both Katie and I have been trying to figure out for two days now how to post the video on our blogs but we haven't had any success.
