Last Saturday was Zach's senior send off dinner for his school.  They do it at the end of their 3rd year before everyone leaves for their 4th year externships.  This year it was at the Rhumba Room in downtown Memphis.  Our great friends the Beazers babysat Declan for us so we had a baby free night!  It was awesome! :)

I can't believe our time in Memphis is almost over!  It is so surreal to me.  The weirdest part is thinking that Zach will finally be done with school in only one year.  WOO HOO!

Easter

Our Easter weekend started off on Friday when we said farewell to our beloved but very unreliable Jeep Grand Cherokee.

We've been looking to get a new car for awhile now.  I was actually test driving cars on my due date but we never found anything that was everything we wanted in a new car.  Our main problem was that we wanted 4 wheel drive since we will be in Utah in a few months but 4 wheel drive is not easy to find in Memphis, TN!  Anyway, Zach was looking online on Thursday night and found the perfect car for us.  We test drove it on Friday and we left 3 hours later with our 2007 Rav4!

The rest of the weekend was very relaxing watching Conference - the parts we could anyway.  It's so much harder watching Conference with a kid!  Declan woke up on Sunday to find his very first Easter basket.  My parents sent him some Easter gifts - a book, a toy, and a cute new Sunday outfit.  Zach and I got him the grass and empty eggs which he LOVED!  We also had some friends over for Easter dinner and it was delish.

Zach and I just started P90X this past week and we are both sore sore sore!  Anyway, Declan is always entertained watching us do it and he decided to try some pull ups of his own...(please excuse his extremely wet diaper.)

Sara's Visit!

We've had just a few visitors in the last month and I love it!  Zach's youngest sister, Sara, came out during her spring break.  We had a lot of fun while she was here and took lots of pictures.  She flew in Friday night and we drove to Nashville on Saturday morning and spent all day there.  We first walked around downtown Nashville then ate at Hard Rock.  YUM!  

After lunch we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame!

We then spent some time at the Opry Mills Mall and afterward we had to take her to the Opryland Hotel.  This hotel never ceases to amaze me.  Zach and I decided that one day we will have to take a trip to Nashville and stay at this hotel.  I can't wait!

We went to the Memphis Zoo while Sara was here and we saw a Komodo Dragon for the first time!  Did you know they can eat a whole deer?  Crazy!

Declan got sick of his stroller so Zach carried him most of the time.  He loves to eat hair...

We also went to the Memphis Botanic Gardens.  We thought we could get a good picture of Declan with the flowers but he just wanted to rip them up instead!

The last day of Sara's visit we went to the Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum.  We weren't able to get any pictures because cameras were strictly prohibited.  They turned an old house that was used to free slaves into a museum and we definitely learned a lot from our tour guide!  When we came home we had lots of fun playing with Declan and making him laugh.

We had a ton of fun with Sara and can't wait to live closer!  Only a few more months!
